This course presents the EPA model curriculum for lead-based paint (LBP) abatement supervisors as described in the HUD Guidelines and EPA Regulations. The curriculum is a augmented with case studies of LBP abatement projects for both single-family and multi-family housing. Through lectures, demonstrations and hands –on training supervisors will learn specific techniques for abating lead-based paint as well as lead in other media, such as dust and soil. Emphasis is placed on worker health and safety, clean-up and waist disposal.
